The Grizzly Growl

  • August 26Copper Hills football uses field goal in overtime to defeat Ben Lomond 16-13 for their first win of the season.

Portia Price is the sports editor for the Grizzly Growl. In her senior year, she decided to give newspaper a chance because of the persuasion of a staff writer and Steve Haslam, the advisor of newspaper. In result of giving newspaper a shot, she’s considering journalism to be something she could pursue beyond high school. Besides newspaper, she is the captain of the softball team here. However, once high school is over, Portia doesn’t plan on continuing her softball career due to playing for years. To get to know Portia more, her favorite fruit is watermelon. She is a dog person. She’s proud of her softball career. She wants to try and last a whole day without technology, but it’s hard because she loves Netflix and Twitter. She loves reading, but doesn’t make time for it as often as she would like. A goal for her senior year is to figure out what will do with her life, and her goal in life is to become rich, and she really, really hates spiders. (Basic fear lmao)
