On Monday, November 6th, 2017, the Copper Hills newspaper, broadcasting, and yearbook teams all gathered together in the media center to discuss a statewide competition called the Coverage Cup.

The Coverage Cup is a new competition that the Utah College Media Alliance is putting on. Its purpose is to give high school media departments the chance to gain exposure and a way to produce meaningful work. All the high schools in Utah, including Copper Hills, will be getting involved. Each school will pick a topic to cover for the whole entire year and put together a portfolio of all sorts of mediums that express that theme. The Copper Hills Grizzlies have chosen UNITY as their theme.

The Copper Hills journalism crew wants to go above and beyond and get you, the students, involved. If students have any film pieces, articles, short stories, art pieces, photos, dances, songs, anything creative at all and would be willing to share, please submit them to either The Grizzly Growl or CHTV News using the hashtag #CHHSUnity.
