What made you successful? When I play a match, I put 110% effort into every point. My success comes from the support of my family.

Why tennis? It teaches me control, sportsmanship, and how to have a good mental game. It’s been in my family for years and ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to play tennis.

Plans after high school: I want to serve an LDS mission and attend BYU.

Pregame routine: I like to pump myself up by listening to music and getting into the right mindset. I also like to cheer with my team and get ready to go out and tear up the court!

Quote from coach Dyer: “Abby is one of the hardest working athletes on the team, and she always has a positive attitude. Abby’s also one of our captains; she gives everything she can for the team without complaining.”
