Sadies Dynamic Duos

Copper Hills High School held its annual Fall Preference dance on Saturday, November 16th. Students came up with many creative costumes to match the Dynamic Duo theme. Such costumes included pairs like firemen and dalmatians, couples from the popular television show Riverdale, Shaggy and Scooby, Lilo and Stitch, Pac-man and many colors of ghosts, the Joker and Harley Quinn, a police officer with a prisoner, and a Life-Alert button with a grandma.

Kierni Jensen, a senior at Copper Hills, and her date were Woody and Jessie from Toy Story. Though Jensen prefers formal dances, she thought Fall Preference was alright. “There were lots of Jessies and Woodies. I also saw a lot of Sully and Boos,” says Kierni. Her brother, Brogan Jensen, senior, commented, “There were a lot of Mario characters like Toads and stuff.”

The gym was decorated like a city from a superhero movie. Colorful buildings lined the bleachers, and some photo opportunities were set up in the back by the water table. Many students showed up to dance to the popular songs the DJ played.
