The Dance for Life Charity Gala was a fundraiser to help raise money and awareness for suicide prevention. This was an event held at Copper Hills High School on Saturday the 28th, with two shows full of performers and two master classes available to take.

The Charity Gala included performers from dance companies and drill teams at highschools all around the state, local dance studio and companies, soloists, as well as So You Think You Can Dance champion Hannahlei Cabanilla. Congressmen Ben McAdams also attended to show his support for suicide prevention. The two shows, one at 2:00 and one at 7:00 each show had different performers, different dances being performed, and different guest speakers. Before and after the first show there was a master class being taught by Hannahlei Cabanilla. This was a jam packed event full of dancing, performing, and learning.

In order to get into this event you had to pay, it wasn’t cheap, but the money goes to a good cause. The proceeds for this event went towards helping with suicide prevention. This was a very amazing fundraiser to get to watch and also donate to the prevention of suicide.
